Our Cattery Process

Here's how we handle inquiries and adoptions to ensure the best possible experience for our kittens and their new families:

  1. Application Required: To begin the process, please complete our application, which can be found in the top menu bar. This helps us learn more about you and what you're looking for in a Maine Coon.
  2. Phone Consultation: Once we receive your completed application, we'll schedule a phone call to discuss your application and answer any initial questions you may have.
  3. Video Calls (After Phone Consultation): If you'd like, we offer video calls via Facebook Messenger or Google Meet. These are available after we've reviewed your application and had a phone conversation. This allows us to dedicate our time to serious inquiries. We appreciate your understanding that due to the demands of caring for our cats, running our cattery, and managing our personal lives, we cannot accommodate video calls with every initial inquiry. There are many videos available online that showcase the Maine Coon breed.
  4. Holding Deposit: If you're approved and decide to reserve one of our kittens, we require a non-refundable holding deposit of $500. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of your kitten. We accept Zelle, CashApp, or credit card. Please note that if you choose to pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added. The remaining balance is due in cash at the time of kitten pick-up.
  5. Kitten Go-Home Age: The age at which our kittens are ready to go to their new homes varies depending on the individual kitten and litter. We prioritize their health and well-being in determining the appropriate time.
  6. Closed Cattery Policy: We maintain a closed cattery environment to protect the health and well-being of our Maine Coon kittens. This policy is in place for the following important reasons:
    • Health and Safety: Young kittens have developing immune systems and are vulnerable to illnesses. A closed cattery minimizes the risk of exposure to contagious diseases.
    • Biosecurity: We adhere to strict biosecurity measures to prevent the introduction of infections that could harm our cats.
    • Peace of Mind: This policy ensures that our kittens are raised in a safe and healthy environment, providing peace of mind for our buyers.

However, we are committed to providing you with comprehensive information through our website, photos, videos, email, and video calls. We are always happy to answer your questions and provide detailed information about our cats and breeding practices.
